OEM-replacement PCM for the 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.2L V8 Magnum engine. This generation used a SBEC-III style engine controller located in the engine compartment on the passenger-side fender well, separate from the later NGC architecture.

The 5.2L V8 PCM manages sequential multi-port fuel injection, distributorless ignition, torque converter lockup, and A/C compressor clutch engagement. Typical failure indicators include random cylinder misfires (P0300-P0308), transmission torque converter shudder, and a persistent Check Engine light with no clear DTC pattern.
