NGC powertrain controller for the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L engine on the WK/XK platform. This generation PCM is located behind the battery box on the driver side and manages a more complex powertrain including electronic throttle body, variable-displacement (5.7L MDS), and the NAG1/W5A580 5-speed automatic transmission.

The 5.7L variant requires specific calibration for its displacement-on-demand system, exhaust cam phasing, and knock sensor strategy. Failure symptoms commonly seen on this platform: intermittent MIL illumination with multiple unrelated DTCs stored simultaneously, hesitation on acceleration from stop, and complete no-communication with scan tools (bus failure).

Shipped VIN-programmed with WIN (Wireless Ignition Node) or SKREEM module pairing depending on production date. Tested on vehicle network simulator verifying all CAN-C and CAN-IHS bus communications before shipment.
