Powertrain controller for the 2016 Jeep Renegade (BU platform) with the 1.4L engine. The Renegade uses an FCA small-vehicle architecture shared with the Fiat 500X, with the PCM located in the engine bay on the driver side, accessible after removing the air intake duct.

The 1.4L Renegade powertrain (turbocharged MultiAir) is managed entirely by this module including boost control, wastegate actuation, variable valve timing, and the DDCT (dual-dry-clutch transmission) or ZF 9HP automatic. PCM failure symptoms on this platform commonly include: harsh DDCT engagement from stop, ESS (stop-start) refusing to activate, P0299 turbo underboost codes from PCM-side wastegate driver failure, and P0562 system voltage low from an internal voltage regulator fault.
