Powertrain controller for the 2016 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.6L engine. This covers the JK (2012-2018) and JL (2018-2020) platforms which use an updated NGC-family controller managing the Pentastar V6, electronic throttle, and either the W5A580 5-speed or 850RE 8-speed automatic transmission.

The 3.6L Pentastar in the Wrangler requires PCM calibration specific to the off-road-oriented cooling and intake systems, including raised air intake path and auxiliary transmission cooler logic. Common failure indicators: P0128 coolant temperature below threshold (PCM thermostat monitoring fault), hesitation at tip-in throttle from stop, and intermittent 4WD engagement issues traced to PCM-to-TCCM communication failures.
