Powertrain controller for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. The Gladiator shares the JL Wrangler platform and powertrain architecture, with the PCM located in the engine bay on the driver side behind the battery. It manages the 3.6L Pentastar with ESS (Engine Stop-Start), electronic throttle, variable valve timing, and the 850RE 8-speed automatic or NSG370 6-speed manual transmission.

The Gladiator PCM calibration is unique from the Wrangler due to the extended wheelbase, higher payload rating, and integrated trailer tow management including exhaust brake logic and transmission temperature-based shift limiting. Common failure symptoms: intermittent ESS malfunction with no codes stored, hesitation on throttle tip-in at low RPM, and P0456 EVAP small leak codes from PCM-internal purge valve driver degradation.
